A leading, independent offshore bank and trust company, are seeking to appoint a Senior Treasury Dealer.
Your responsibilities will include day to day operation of the Bank’s Repo, Money Market and Foreign Exchange books, placing and taking funds via the Repo & Money Markets and ensuring the appropriate level of funds at the Bank’s correspondent accounts.
You will act to enhance returns on the Bank’s funds and maintain liquidity within internal and regulatory requirements, as well as assisting with maintenance and control of the Bank’s client deposit interest rate structure.
Our client is seeking to appoint a candidate who has a minimum of five years’ experience gained in an active market trading environment with experience of Repo/Securities Finance, inter-bank Money Markets and Foreign Exchange. Experience of Central Counterparty Clearing would be advantageous.
Ideally you will be ACI Diploma qualified or equivalent, with proven self-management skills gained in a Bank Treasury function. You will need to have an ability to understand and effectively interpret and communicate market and economic data, have a stable and calm temperament to work accurately and effectively under the pressures arising from working in active markets with high value tickets to tight deadlines, alongside excellent numerical, communication and inter-personal skills.
