Our client is seeking to appoint a Financial Accounts Administrator, this is a part-time permanent role, working 25 hours per week, over 5 days per week.
You will need to be great with numbers, and they need someone who can help them in providing high quality accounts administration for their Guernsey Financial Accounting team.
The role involves preparing bank transfers and cheques for clients and companies, bookkeeping, maintenance and reconciliation of bank, sales and general ledger. You will assist the Financial Accountant in preparing monthly financial reports and annual statutory financial statements and support schedules for audits.
You will need to have a strong financial background with proven experience in financial administration or any other finance role. You will need to have a comprehensive working knowledge of MS Excel and other MS Office applications. You will need to have the ability to work accurately, reliably and meet deadlines on a regular basis.
You will need to be committed to ongoing learning and implementing new knowledge into practice, alongside good written and verbal skills.
