Our client is seeking to appoint a Compliance Manager. Working with the Head of Compliance you will have responsibility for entities in Guernsey, provide support including compliance monitoring and specific projects as required from time to time. This will involve advising and reporting to key business partners on business issues and standards to ensure compliance with all policies and procedures with the aim of ensuring our client follows best practice in terms of meeting their legislative and regulatory requirements. In this role you will act as the MLRO, and have line management responsibilities. You will provide assistance to the Compliance Team, always consider the regulatory, AML/CFT and customer due diligence. You will need to have strong IT skills, in-depth knowledge and understanding of legal and regulatory requirements, alongside excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
