Have you got an interest in working on vehicles? Then this role is perfect for you. Our client is currently looking for an Auto Centre Fitter at a well-known and respected garage in St. Helier. Daily duties/responsibilities will include to carry out work as and when required on a customer’s vehicle and undertake all functions provided by the Auto Centres. Receive and unload any goods delivered to the Auto Centres making sure the delivery area is made safe. Keep the workshop and machinery clean and tidy and free from hazards. Deliver and collect vehicle parts when necessary. Ensure good customer relations when dealing with customers, acting in a courteous, friendly and helpful manner. Regularly check operation of equipment, advising management immediately of malfunctions.

Ensure compliance of oneself, staff and customers with health & safety policy, company policies and other relevant regulations. Advise customers on products, seeking technical advice from the manager / supervisor as required. Attend any training courses organised by the company in relation to the role and learn and understand product details and their application.
Promote the business including any special offers and promotional events.
